Missions

Jesus told his disciples that “…you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” (Acts 1:8). We embrace our privilege and sacred calling to participate in the global mission of God. Looking to Jesus’ command in Acts 1:8 we engage in strategic ministry partnerships locally (our “Judea”), regionally (our “Samaria”) and globally (“to the ends of the earth”).

Global Missions

Through the Cooperative Program we partner with the International Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. The IMB seeks to see the gospel take root among every unreached people group and supports over 4,000 missionaries world-wide.

We also have a partnership with Jeremiah 29:11 Mission, an organization committing to sharing the love and Gospel of Jesus to orphans and the disadvantaged in Honduras.

Regional Missions

Through the Cooperative Program we partner with two regional agencies: Georgia Baptist Mission Board and the North American Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention. These organizations are committed to starting new churches, strengthening existing churches and helping those in crisis through disaster relief ministry.

Local Missions

Gillionville is proud to support and partner with a variety of local organizations that share our mission to share Jesus’ love and message right here in Albany and Leesburg. These groups include the Lord’s Pantry, Albany Rescue Mission, the Anchorage, Liberty House and Graceway Recovery.
