Ministries

At Gillionville Baptist Church you will find opportunities for people of every age to grow, belong and serve.  Learn more about our age-group ministries as well as small group opportunities.

Preschool & Children

Infants - 5th Grade

Children are important at Gillionville because they are important to God!  In Matthew 18:16 Jesus said, “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.”  Jesus wanted everyone to know children are important to God, therefore they must have priority in His church.  It is our desire to assist parents in developing children who are surrendered to God and follow Him with all their hearts.

Youth

GBYouth.org

This is your place. This is your ministry. Whether hanging out in the Student Cafe, worshiping in David's Place, or playing Ultimate on the East Lawn, you'll find this is common ground. This is a place where everyone is welcome and you can be you. You'll grow life-long friendships with some of the coolest people around and experience the most fun you can imagine.  Most importantly, you'll grow in an eternal relationship with God through Jesus the Christ. Here you will discover the Bible: its content, context, and modern applications. You'll learn to discern the truth in your culture and media. You'll be equipped to grow others in discipleship and participate in a variety of mission projects.  This is GBYouth. We're glad you're here.

College

Gillionville is just a few short miles from Albany State University on Gillionville Road. We are proud partners of Baptist Collegiate Ministry (BCM) at Albany State University.

Seniors

Senior adults are an important part of our family of faith here at Gillionville. Our senior adult ministry offers opportunities for fellowship, service and continued spiritual growth. Join us for a Sunday morning small group, Wednesday evening Bible study or our monthly Senior Adult luncheon to learn more. We're saving a seat for you!

Small Groups

Small groups are a big deal at Gillionville. We believe that people best learn and form meaningful friendships in a small group setting. This is why you'll find a variety of small group opportunities at our church. Most of our small groups meet on Sunday morning at 9:15 AM. There are groups throughout the week, too.

Music & the Arts

“Oh come, let us worship and bow down; let us kneel before the Lord, our Maker!” Psalm 95:6

At Gillionville, we use music and the arts to draw people to the heart of God. We respond to who God is and what He has done through worship by loving and serving our community. You'll find that all our ministry areas and ages utilize music and the arts. Gillionville offers creative people opportunities to worship and serve our creative God in creative ways.
